The Name Behind the Hubble Art Wall
Louis Carreon is one of today’s most innovative contemporary artists. After being incarcerated in federal prison for drug related crimes, Louis found peace and was able to overcome addiction by immersing himself in art. His work can be seen in some of the worlds most recognized spaces such as the Soho House, Viper Room, and in our home, Hubble Studio. One of his recent art projects included his collaboration with Landmark Aviation for Art Basel. For this project, a 12 passenger jet was commissioned for him to paint it’s exterior. This jet was later sold for 125,000 with some of the proceeds donated to Autism Speaks. Louis Carreon is constantly creating new, unique pieces of art out of his working studio- The Drip Factory- in Los Angeles. Friday February 3rd Louis Carreon hosted a viewing party for his most recent art paintings, which were all created while on his extended stay in Bali. Some of these one-of-a-kind paintings can be seen on his instagram @louiscarreon. From concrete walls and boutique hotels, to the walls of our studio, Louis’s artwork continues to stand out and inspire.
